The Career-Readiness program is a 24-week course offered annually. The program enrolls up to 15 students. Students must have either a GED or high school
diploma to be eligible for enrollment. Classes include Who Moved My Cheese?, Jobs for Life™, The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People,
personal development, computer skills, budgeting, core communication, and business math. The Career-Readiness program is a certified Jobs for Life™ site
and is the only place in the state to offer the National Work Readiness Credential. Course objectives include: investigating, exploring, and creating a
one-year career plan, exposure to the work environment of desired career, and developing a network within desired career field. Students who complete the
Career-Readiness Course are better prepared to find a job and keep it. Time spent with M-POWER instructors, mentors, and internship supervisors helps
